Whole IgG Affinity-Purified Secondary Antibodies

"I have used a wide variety of secondaries and Jackson ImmunoResearch has consistently been the best. The fluorophores are bright and stable and their selective (x reactivity removed) secondaries have always shown species specificity in multiple labeling."

Recommended Storage Conditions

TechFAQ #4

What are the recommended storage conditions for JIR's products?

Unconjugated Affinity-Purified (AffiniPure) Antibodies, IgG fraction Monoclonal Antibodies, Purified (ChromPure) Proteins from Normal Serums, and Gamma Globulins

Physical State: Sterile-filtered liquid

Storage: Store at 2-8°C under sterile conditions. Prepare working dilution on day of use.
Expiration date: one year from date of receipt. The expiration date may be extended if test results are acceptable for the intended use.

Rabbit Fc crystallizes readily on standing. To dissolve crystals, titrate to pH 11 with dilute alkali and immediately lower pH to desired range with dilute acid.

Physical State: Freeze-dried solid

Storage and Rehydration: Store freeze-dried solid at 2-8°C. Rehydrate with the indicated volume of dH2O and centrifuge if not clear. Prepare working dilution on day of use. Product is stable for about 6 weeks at 2-8°C as an undiluted liquid.
Extended Storage after Rehydration: Aliquot and freeze undiluted product at -20°C or below. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Expiration date: one year from date of rehydration. The expiration date may be extended if test results are acceptable for the intended use.

Extended Storage after Rehydration: Aliquot and freeze at -70°C or below. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Alternatively, add an equal volume of glycerol (ACS grade or better) for a final concentration of 50%, and store at -20°C as a liquid.
Expiration date: one year from date of rehydration. The expiration date may be extended if test results are acceptable for the intended use.

Store stained specimens at 4°C to preserve fluorescence.

R-Phycoerythrin, Allophycocyanin and PerCP Conjugates

Physical State: Freeze-dried solid

Storage and Rehydration: Store freeze-dried solid at 2-8°C. Rehydrate with the indicated volume of dH2O and centrifuge if not clear. Store at 2-8°C – do not freeze. Prepare working dilution on day of use.
Expiration date: six months from date of rehydration. The expiration date may be extended if test results are acceptable for the intended use.
